SOUND

Today i have learned about sound . So here is the video  :

 Description :

         Video 1: Is about shrill and dull sound 

   Shrill : Which has high frequency.

   Dull :   Which has less frequency. 

   Frequency : The amount of sound waves passed by in 1 second .

In this experiment we had 4 glasses. Each one had different amount of water in it .The water lvl is from less to high . When i tap the less water glass it  makes shrill sound and if i tap high water glass it makes less sound. You may even ask how ? The ans is when length is increased it decreases frequency. When we  decrease length frequency increases. So this happens.

        Video 2 : Is  a guitar with diff width of string and pencils 

SI UNIT OF SOUND = HZ 

Sound = Three types  infrasonic, audible, ultra sonic

Infrasonic: Below 20 HZ , which can't be heard.

Audible :Above 20 -20000HZ , which can be heard .

Ultrasonic:Above 20000HZ , Which can't be heard.

In the DIY - guitar , I have 2 pencils for the amount of vibration , diff type of strings .

Now if i adjust the pencil length nearer it will be shrill because length less frequency high.

If length high frequency low. So this is how i had made this guitar.
